A classic for a reason.

1

Tips

For extra crispy skin, allow the potatoes to sit for a few minutes after coating them with oil and seasonings.

2

Variations

For added flavor, sprinkle garlic powder or paprika before cooking.

3

Toppings

Add baked beans, tuna, cheese, whatever you want on top!

4

Time

A proper jacket potato does take a bit of time, but it's worth it!

Pierce each potato several times with a fork, allowing steam to escape during cooking.

4

Rub the potatoes all over with olive oil, ensuring an even coat. Sprinkle with sea salt and ground black pepper.

5

Place the prepared potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching to allow air to circulate.

6

Air fry the potatoes at 200°C (390°F) for 35-40 minutes. Turn them halfway through cooking to achieve an even, crispy skin. Pierce with a fork to check doneness; they should be tender inside.

When done, remove the potatoes from the air fryer carefully (they will be hot). Cut a deep cross in the top of each potato and gently squeeze the sides to fluff up the interior.
