When looking for fun things to do for Halloween, it can be pretty overwhelming. There are absolutely tons of events on, and it can be hard to pick which one to go to. So time to pick a costume, and get spooky.
To save you time and energy scouring the web, we've rounded up the most exciting fun things to do for Halloween this year to get you excited and planning for the spooky season ahead.
1. Halloween club nights

If you're into dressing up and just want a boogie, the first thing you should do is give your go-to club a search and see if they're doing any events, we can almost guarantee they will be!
Drumsheds in London is becoming one of the most iconic venues in London since it opened back in 2023. With a list of events on, they know how to host a memorable evening. This Halloween they have an special event on and with your Drumsheds Student Beans discount you can get 25% off it as well as other upcoming events.
LEVEL Nightclub in Liverpool has a Freaky Friday event (where dress-up is highly encouraged)!
If singalong isn't the spooky scene that you're into, during the weekend at The Warehouse Project, DJ Marlon Hoddstadt's is hosting a "Party of the Year" event with acts such as Horsegirl, X Club and much more.
So, if the house, techno and rave scene are what you're after, tickets start at £49.50 on the Ticketmaster.
2. London Bridge

If you're less of a party goer and want to get spooked in a historical setting... there are some more events for all the horror wh0res out there. Plus, Halloween in London is truly a fantastic experience.
Descend into the lower vaults of the London Bridge where The London Tombs await. Here they're hosting a "Zombie for A Day" event where you can receive a creepy transformation into a zombie as a professional artist applies FX makeup, ready to unleash you out into London.
Tickets start from £85 per person – this will definitely be a memorable event!
3. London Dungeon

Another solid Halloween in London idea has to be The London Dungeon. It's an attraction that goes across the minds of many during Halloween.
The London Dungeon is a tourist attraction along London's South Bank, which recreates various gory and macabre historical events in a gallows humour style. It uses a mixture of live actors, special effects and rides, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Plus, they have some unique shows on too. This Halloween edition presents "Dracula: A Victorian Nightmare", all about the infamous Jack the Ripper in Whitechapel back in the year 1886. This show is running from 16th October – 3rd November. Currently it's included in a standard ticket purchase (from £32 when booked online). But get a booking now to avoid disappointment.
4. Cinema nights

Want to enjoy some classic (and new) horror as opposed to walking through an attraction for a fright? We'd say this is a lighthearted option, but it depends on what you choose to watch...
Major cinema outlets such as Odeon, Vue and Cineworld will often showcase scary films throughout October. Be sure to check out your local listings to see what's on.
And if you want to really immerse yourself in the world of horror films, Everyman is also screening some of the most classic horror films in existence from Psycho to Scream. With their cosy sofa setting – you're guaranteed to be comfortable and fully engrossed in the film.
5. Spookyworld
Up in Warrington is Spooky World, which has 8 spooky attractions guaranteed to make you scream, from the Evil Carnevil Freakshow and the Field of Screams to The Haunting House of Horrors and the Haunted Hayride through the woods.
